DIRECTED BY ROMAIN GAVRAS
Utiliser la violence comme esthétique,c'est pas nouveau.Certain diront que c'est juste de la provocation, d'autres que c'est faire l'apologie de la violence, d'autres que c'est un chef d'oeuvre... C'est le style de Romain Gavras et de Kim Chapiron. cf "Bâtards de barbares' le clip de la Caution pour la bande originale de Sheitan (rien de très nouveau). Perso je trouve ça artistiquement très réussi... mais de savoir qu'une fois de plus ce sont des bobos fascinés par la rue qui sont derrière ce clip me gêne un peu. Surtout quand il est difficile de cerner qu'elle importance les auteurs de cette vidéo, accordent au fait qu'une fois de plus, ce sont des jeunes noirs et arabes qui incarnent un rôle socialement nuisible et effrayant. As-ton vraiment besoin encore de telles images?... Les justice avaient commandé un clip qui mettent mal à l'aise et qui soit hyper violent,Gavras a rempli sa mission: ça fait parler!

Use of Violence as aesthetic is nothing new. Some will say its only about provocation, others will say it is an apology of violence and others will say its a masterpiece... It is indeed Romain Gavras and Kim Chapiron's style.

Personnally I think it's very well directed and I believe the feeling most eople get whent they watch it matches the matter of the song. On the other hand it bothers me to know that once again it is people from outside of the "ghetto" who made this project with their vision highly fascinated by this world. I find it confusing to understand the importance the director gave to the fact that it is blacks and arabs (once again!) who plays this socially harmful ad frightening role.
Justice ordered a video that would create uneasyness and ultra violent. Gavras made that happen and everybody is talking about it.
