
Rachel Khoo is an english woman living in Paris. She first discovered she had a passion for food, cookery and styling whilst studying at the prestigious Central Saint Martins College of Art & Design in my beloved London. After a short stint in PR and E-marketing, she decided to live her DREAM and so moved to Paris to study french at la Sorbonne and Patisserie at Le Cordon Bleu. You can now find her in the "chic and very inviting" La Cocotte where she puts her expertly honed Patisserie skills to good use. She also writes recipes for the likes of Elle a Table, Gallerie la Fayette and her very own R Khooks.



I first met Rachel on a grizzly Saturday afternoon in Paris. Although desperate for a good english fry-up to cure my subsiding hangover, I somehow got talked into going for tea and biscuits instead by my good friend Etienne and agreed, somewhat reluctantly. He took me to la Cocotte, where Rachel creates a wide range of ludicrously tasty confections, all served with an infectious smile. The caramel cookies she made came very close to topping my list of "ten things to do before you die". I kid you not. Pure serendipity.
