Despite being a ubiquitous feature of most European capitals, Burger King has been noticeably absent from the French 'paysage' (since 1997), much to the despair of our belligerent CEO Hirmane. This is presumably Burger King's attempt to punish him for sins committed in a previous life. Hirmane gets very serious when it comes to hamburgers. He even clued me up about myburger.fr. A website dedicated to like minded burger fanatics, who travel the globe in search of new burgers to review. I kid you not. An unmistakably French wave of 'resistance' has recently begun however, and it has our fully fledged support here at Trust the Buzz! Most notably, a 15000 strong petition for the return of Burger King as well as a short musical comedy aptly named 'Back in France' , which has recently been shortlisted at the 2008 Méribel festival.
