Le mix date déjà de deux mois mais ici on ne fait pas dans l'éphémère et la bonne musique ça ne vieillit pas. Donc voici AFRICA TE QUIERO, un mix proposé par WeAreBlind avec Yannick Do à la Sélection et Marius au Mix.
Il s'agit de tracks & d'artistes qui représentent la musique Africaine à l'image de Fela Kuti, Mory Kanté, Magala Camara, Amadou et Mariam, Douk Saga et bien d’autres.
“Nous avons voulu ouvrir comme à chaque fois notre sélection à la relève de cette musique teintée souvent de sons electro. C’est ainsi que l’on peut faire découvrir des jeunes comme Papa Ghana jeune dj et musicien venu d’Amsterdam : Afrique Som System… L’idée de cette mixtape n’était pas seulement de sélectionner des artistes africains, mais de faire également un clin d’œil à ce continent qui est souvent le berceau de plusieurs courants musicaux. DJ Weedim est un des DJ parisien les plus prolifiques ce n'était donc qu'une question de temps avant qu'il figure sur un de nos posts. C'est en compagnie de B.E. Labeu (jeunes 1ers) et Metek (Noir Fluo) pour la 60ème de la série Futuristic Drop qu'il le fait. Le resultat donne "Fumer dans le Club" un titre qui pue le vécu et la débauche parisienne.. que voulez vous personne n'est parfait. En tout cas le plaisir est garanti. Objectif donc atteint. TTB!
