Twins For Peace is the story of a bunch of Frenchies making business entrepreneurship, fashion and charity naturally coexist like parts of a simple but carefully designed triptych.
When you first meet these young hip boys it doesn't take long to realize that even though their shoes are being sold in the most sought after Parisian boutiques (and worldwide!) and that their efficient PR is making sure the right amount of media, professionals and VIP will attend their event, they don't take themselves too seriously. And I mean this. These cool dudes are just simply not willing to lose their values on their way to entrepreneurial succes. Who could blame them for that?
Twins mission as they say "is to create a product that is simple and elegant and at the same time cool and socially responsible". Preach! Shoes are being manufactured in a European family-owned factory using mostly recyclable materials and the amount of pairs sold per collection is the same amount of shoes that will be produced in a selected developing country to be offered to children in need and boost local economy at the same time. To ensure it's impact each project is monitored with/by an NGO. This adventure started in 2009 and is growing strong. After Brasil (2009) and Mozambique (2010) they're now preparing for Colombia.
