Now Bounce!

This kid is a genius crazy deranged and Raw kid!!

Tyler, The Creator is part of OFWGKTA (Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All) "a group of young, precocious audio/visual artists based in Southern California who also happenned to be a collection of disturbed teenagers obsessed with swastikas, rape and kidnapping that produces some of the most original and interesting rap music you are likely to hear anytime soon"

what do you use in your production? Who engineers all your records?
I use everything from Logic to fucking Fruity Loops. It doesn’t really matter the program, it’s the person making it. I stay away from samples, not saying I don’t like people who sample, but I like to create shit, some brand new shit, that kids will sample in the future. And Syd the Kyd sits and makes sure the shit we record sound good.

"Outside of your crew who/what do you listen to?
Me personally, Stereolab, James Pants, The Liars, Alen Tew, Grizzly Bear, Erykah Badu, shit like that.

You’re a Grizzly Bear fan?
Yeah, Grizzly Bear swags their shit out.

If I had to pick something diametrically opposite the music that you make, it would probably be something like Grizzly Bear. So what attracts you to them?
I don’t know, maybe it’s the chords or the way they set their shit up. I don’t listen to much rap, matter fact I kinda hate rap. If I listen to rap it will probably be Clipse, Eminem, Waka Flocka, fucking Nas, Outkast, and Snoop Dog and that is probably it if it’s not Odd Future. People sometimes forget that I am a producer too so I am into jazz and stuff like that…

Who does the artwork on all the OFWGKTA stuff? It is as impressive as the music...maybe more.
I usually do the artwork, and Left Brain comes here and there with some crazy shit. Artwork is really important to me, album covers especially. Seriously, if the album cover doesn’t match the music to some point, I can’t fuck with it. I love releasing singles too, because when you do that, you have no choice but to have art with it. Most people just have some faggot photo to go along with it, but I want every listener to have an experience when they listen to any song OF releases. So if it's no video, its cover art. If it’s not cover art, then I don't fucking know."

Below is a cool interview that I've jacked on Joyengine
